Andrew was born at 11:48 a.m. at Marietta Memorial Hospital on March 30th 1981 (the same day president Reagan was shot). Andrew was then taken to a ranch style house (owned by his progenitors) a few miles outside of Marietta Ohio. Andrew would spend the next eighteen years living in that same house. There was no significant (out of the ordinary) childhood truama; a scar here and there, getting picked on, broken arm, all the usual events in a growing American boy's life. In high school Andrew formed a band with four friends. Adam started the band and got the members together, but he soon left when it became apparent he wasn't going to play an active role. The band then consisted of Ben on rythym guitar (soon switching to just vocals), Andrew on lead guitar, Brian on drums, and Jeremy on bass. None of them really knew how to play their instruments very well. Andrew had taken drum lessons from Dave (of Catch-22) and endured five years in the school band (including one year of high school marching band). In 1994 Andrew bought an acoustic guitar at Rink's Flea Market for $70. The guitar was later sold at a yard sale for $5. Andrew had bought the guitar after being inspired by CBS' Beatles Anthology program.
